I picked up this 100% het pied pair in Nov 2010. The female was around 650 grams when I got her and the male was about 450 grams. Today she is about 1400 grams on empty. The male is 700 grams and producing sperm plugs. They are going on 3 years old this year. I want to give her a try, and hope for some visual piebalds. At the same time I would wait, if I were only going to get a small clutch because she is still at that minimum weight range.

Both male and female have great het pied markers




That indistinguishable shiny thing is a quarter for size comparison.


She has retained a lot of yellow; I think she will make nice pieds one day.
