I have never been able to predict any of my females even though I had 4 females in 4 different colonies give birth days apart from each other. I typically wake up or come home and there are a bunch of pinks. I did walk in one time when one was giving birth.

Is this your first asf mommy? Not sure how yours will act but 2 of the 4 colonies got very aggressive

    Re: Preggo

I have one set that if I walk into the room and the mom is feeding she will run across the cage leaving a trail of babies, poor babies but it is the funniest thing. I have given her a hide but they just flip it over and use it as a toilet.

Even if she is protective, once the babies are close to being weaned mine calmed down.

    Congrats and good luck!

Moms and babies are hillarious. . . The babies hang on so tight, when I lift mom off the pile, they're still attached.
