I haven't seen my BP come out of his hide for some time now, only to feed.
I've had my ball python since January, when he was just a baby, the salesman said about 3 weeks old. I've been feeding him small mice every 10 days or so for a couple months now. I haven't seen him come out of his hide for a while now, although I'm not home all the time. But he just usually stays in there. Is this normal behavior? This is my first snake and don't know exactly what to expect with hibernation and whatnot. Any insight would be great.

Ball pythons hide. It's a good sign. They are nocturnal and will only come out at night anyways. If he/she was out roaming during the day it usually means they are stressed out.

It's fairly normal. They're nocturnal...and I hope you're giving him more than one small mouse every 10 days. If not, that could be the problem...he's just mad at you.
