    question, or advice please

I have never been able to get mice to breed, rats are not a problem
A couple of my balls are mice only so I have been keeping 6 on hand at all times.
Well I dont pay much attention to them other than making sure they have food, water and cleaning.
I guess this group I have had for about 2 month and I just noticed that all 4 females are prego!!!!
My question is, should I leave them 2.4, divide them to 1.2 or what?
I looked the 2 males over and they dont show any signs of fighting, matter fact all 6 look happy as can be

If they are going to start breeding for me, I dont want to break up a good thing if I dont have to.

That really depends. They might eat each others babies and the males might eat the babies. Mice are so unpredictable. I had 1.5 going for awhile and the babies kept getting eaten. I had to feed off .3 but now I have a 1.2 that takes great care of babies so I'm going to hold back a few females. It is pretty much trial and error but that grouping sounds prime for some cannibalization (mice can suck sometimes)

    Regards,

    B

I wouldn't move them at all. They'll probably be fine. They've already set up a hierarchy,, I just would let the girls all drop together, and probably take the males out, because they will immediately try to breed the females, even while they're giving birth, and this could stress them out and cause problems.
