    Possible corn owner

I got an email from a woman locally who does not want her candy cane corn anymore.. Issue is. Im set up for bps.. Heated room at 81 with a 41qt rack system.. And no way to change that.. I doubt these conditions would be good for a corn. Based on the little reading ive done.

Couldn't you just keep the corn in a cage in another room?

I considered that but the issue is. I have tennants and they currently tolerate one sealed room for my snakes. So another room is not an option

    Re: Possible corn owner

I'm not an expert on corns, but if the room gets no hotter than 81, it'd probably be ok. I wouldn't offer a hot spot though, at those temps. I wouldn't suggest keeping the corn in the same rack with the balls, especially if you have supplemental heat on all the tubs...that'd be too hot.

Maybe a glass tank in the coolest corner of the room?

If it comes down to the only option being to put the corn in the rack with the balls and nothing else....then I'd turn down the the option to take it.

if you own the house, they rent from you, they have no rights to say anything in my honest opinion.

Renters have rights. Not sure about this case but even if they didn't it would be kind of crappy to force it on them. That's a good way to give snake owners a bad name.

makes sense, but then again, it is his house, his rules, as parents say(at least mine do). it would give snake owners a bad name, understand completely.
