    Ovulation?

I have been breeding my spider to my normal for only about 3 days and he bred her at least 4 times that i saw. She is in shed and i looked at her today and she looks bigger around than she usually does. She hasnt eaten in about 3 weeks either. Does it look like an ovulation?

Here is a normal picture of her.

Females ovulate when they are glowing, that female isn't glowing so isn't ovulating.
    Maybe building

I just checked marus jayne's website on breeding and i believe she is in her pre-ovulation shed we will se if she starts glowing. I looked at the pics he has and they match exactly. Im so exited!

This whole process takes much longer than a few weeks. They usually start glowing towards the end of the building process. Have you palpated her? Just be patient.

P.s. She looks like a nice big girl! How much does she weigh?

She has been biulding follicles for a while now probably about a month or 2. But i just now threw the male in. I held her up like i saw on markus jayne's breeding page and you can see the bulge in her stomach even though she hasnt eaten in a while. But she is massive at about 3800g. and no im not good at palpating.

One of our girls ovulated while she was in the middle of her shed cycle so it can happen. Look at the underside of her tail and if she is ovulating her ventral scales leading up to her vent will be creased or bent. Look up "tail suck", it's a tell tail sign of an ovulation. If not, then its building and keep paring her up.
