First reptile expo
On the 27th of aug i'll be heading to oaks pa for the reptile expo. This will be my first expo and i will be hoping to buy my first BP. I was hoping to find a female lesser or albino i havnt descided yet. But anyways i was wondering what i should exspect. Should i pay the price they have them listed for, or should i talk them down? What are a lesser female yearling or an albino going for? Do i need cash or are they set up to take credit?

Re: First reptile expo
You could always try to talk them down. Most are willing to make a deal. Also I highly recommend taking cash. There are some that take Credit, some that take credit charge a fee for it as well.
Make sure you shop around and don't settle on the first one you see. This past Weekend it took me most of the show before i picked up the 2 pastels i wanted. I keep going back and forth from 2 different tables before i got the deal i wanted.

I don't see female lessers or albinos for much less that $450. I also advise you to take cash as some places don't take credit/debit or charge a fee if they do. Also, make sure you're all set up for the snake before you get it home, double and triple check the husbandry.
2.0 Offspring, 1.1 Normal Ball Python, 1.0 Pastel Ball Python, 0.1 Albino Ball Python, 0.1 Pinstripe Ball Python, 0.1 Banana Ball Python, 1.0 Pied Ball Python, 1.0 Normal Hognose, 0.1 Veiled Chameleon, 0.0.1 G.pulchra, 0.1 P.metallica, 0.1 M.giganteus

Re: First reptile expo
Since you are going with the intention of buying a specific snake, I would suggest checking to see if the show has a website. If they do, there is normally a link to the list of vendors. You could try contacting some of the vendors in advance to see if they might have what you are looking for. Also, alot of shows offer VIP passes for the first day, which will allow you to get in earlier and browse for your potential new friend without all of the crowded commotion, and there is a better chance of you finding what you want. It's also a good idea to take a pen and paper to take notes if there are several snakes that you are trying to decide between. However you decide to do it, don't forget to have fun...
