    dont you hate it when...

when the 48 hour "grace" period since he fed has passed and u get home from work thinking your finally gonna get to take him out and handle him for a while, then when you finally get him out, u notice hes in damn near full shed cloudy eyes and all,

so i just sigh, and lay him on the bed, while i spray his tank down to get the humidity up, while i was at it i checked surface temps, and spot cleaned and just placed him back in. guess it will be a few more days before handling time

lol, I can usually tell just from looking at mine if they have a pink belly and are about to go blue so I don't usually get surprised by that. What bothers me is when they all decide to shed at the same time. >_< Having 10 BPs and 2 Boas there is generally something I can take out enjoy, but my BPs love to shed at the same time.

I also don't wait 48hrs, I feed at night and then I'll start handling them again the next day.

I understand the excitement, but if you just brought him home yesterday you should give him about one week to settle in before handling or attempting to feed.
