My ball python is wheezing when I try to pick him up

Like its not a constant wheeze. Its just when I try to pick him up. The humidity is 54%, the hot spot is 90 ish and ambient is 80.

If were an RI, you would hear it constantly.

He is just hissing or breathing deeply. If it was an RI he would sound like that constantly and not just when you pick him up.
