Take a look at this BP Owner says its 50% het Ghost.

Have a chance to buy this girl. its listed as a 3 year old 50% het Ghost for $50. Her pattern is defiantly nice looking. What do you think?

These are the best pics i could get.

You will be buying a $50 normal. Nice normal but a normal.

Re: Take a look at this BP Owner says its 50% het Ghost.

Keep in mind that the correct terminology is 50% POSSIBLE het. That means that there's a 50% chance it could be a gene carrier, and a 50% chance that it may just be a normal.

50% possible hets are created by breeding a 100% het to a normal. All resulting offspring are 50% possible hets.

The only way to know for sure if they carry the gene is to prove them out.

$50 for a normal female is a good deal (if indeed a female) and if she proves out it will be the cherry on the top, but untill than normal until proven differently

Remember 50% Het mean 50% Chances she is an het / 50% chances she is a normal.

Also, for $50, she's not a bad female to have whether she proves out or not. Just be certain it is a female. Breed her to any co-dom or dominant gene animal, and you make your money back with the offspring. Or breed her to say a pastel het hypo and see if you make Pastel Orange Ghosts (POG's). And if she doesn't prove in the first breeding, it's not conclusive that she's not - it would require a couple of breedings before you can be relatively certain that she is or isn't a gene carrier.
