    5k run with various obstacles.

Has anyone done this? Is anyone going to do it?

I did it yesterday....it was pretty grueling. Primarily because the heat index was ridiculous. I ran at 1130am yesterday and by that time there had already been 30+ heat-related incidents involving individuals passing out. The heat index got up to 108 F at the course location.

I finished it in about 39 minutes. The quickest time that day was around the 24 minutes mark.

At 2pm a fire chiefs recommended that the remaining heats to be cancelled as it was not safe any longer. This was once the total heat-related incidents spiked to 57 and 13 of those requiring an ambulance+hospital.

That said...it was fun and I would recommend it..if you can handle the heat.
