    Is she really ovulating?

I thought my breeding season was done and I have been planning for the next one but today when I checked on this girl, she looks like she is ovulating. I didn't think she would go this year! Am I seeing things or is she really ovulating?

    Nice looking snake!

I don't think I see an ovulation. Maybe the view is just bad? Is she still swollen? Can you get a different shot of her?

Yeah, a belly shot on the lower third of her body would be very helpful. Looks like a possibility, but not a certain ovulation.

    Cheers,

Looks like it could be the beginning of or the end of ovulation

Check the under side of her tail by her vent. If she's ovulating the ventral scales will be bent/pintched.

Here's a few pics of what I mean.

    Re: Is she really ovulating?

I must have caught the tail end of it because she is not that swollen tonight and she is starting to get darker and duller in color. I know she was glowing because she was light and bright. Here is a couple more shots!
