I had several females that bred this season, but did not take. I know for sure at least two produced follicles and then reabsorbed them. My question is; do I have to wait a full year before trying to breed them again? I know they do not double-clutch, so generally how long until the females are able/willing to produce follicles and breed again. I'm mostly concerned with not rushing them into breeding when they are not able to. I am sure part of this is dependent on each female, but a ballpark estimate would be greatly appreciated.
