My juvenile ball python (Bradley) is coming to the end of his shed, and he stretches open his jaws alot. This will be the first one that I've had him for, so first off, is this normal? I see him open his mouth really wide and then rub his nose on everything within reach... he's been doing this off and on for about three days now. (his eyes were cloudy, now they are clear, and his skin looks really tight and dull- so Im sure he is shedding).
So, anyway - his jaw looks misaligned. It looks like it is pushed slightly to the right when his mouth is closed. Will he be able to correct it himself? I will take him to the vet if its necessary, but to be honest, I really just dont want [I]another[I] vet bill. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice is appreciated!
