    Ball python DIY enclosure

I am in the process of getting all the materials i need to build an enclosure for my BP. I was wondering what is the best size for an enclosure. I was thinking that a 4x2x1 would be good? What is yall's opinion?

    Thanks in advance!

Adult BP's usually do good in a 3 X 2 X 1. If you decide to stick with the 4 x 2, make sure you add some vines, branches, etc, to help clutter it up, or you could make a removable divider to block off part of the enclosure until the snake adjusts to it.

I agree 3x2 or 4x2 will work fine 4x2 needs to be full but it is unlikely even a large female would need bigger, a large female might out grow a 3x2 maybe...

I made my last one (30in x 28 in) a bit higher 18 in tall it is easier to clean a bit more balancing with humidity but not too bad. 16 might be a good compromise.
