Talking They look like something special to me...

So here are the hold backs that I hatched out a few months ago. These are something else. I took them to my buddy (breeder and owner of a shop here in Miami) and he told me that I better hold these back. This conversation was a few sheds ago and these are the results of holding these great looking females back.

    This used to be pink...

    On every "head"

    See anything weird...

    Hmmm...

I'll try and get some good pics of mom tomorrow. That is where the white is stemming from on the alien heads.

I can understand that, but I have personally never seen pastels come out of the egg with pink on the pattern and ultimately turn white.

Pastels come put in variety of coloration. A lot of babies hatch with pink coloring to them till 1-2 sheds later.

The Pink is nothing new with hatchlings and then go away

I was waiting for someone else to say it first.. After you have hatched a few more clutches you will see the variation and the different colors. That's what pastels look like.

I've hatched pink babies and neon yellow babies. Babies with what appeared to have high white sides and banded pastels. Some with hooks, keyholes, alienheads, flames, you name it.

In the end.. Yours honestly just looks like a run of the mill pastel that unfortunately is already showing signs of early browning out.
