    Eastern American Toad (i think)

Caught this little guy on our sidewalk tonight.. we've had a family of them living in our flowerbed forever and we see them all the time, but this one was showing the most red I've ever seen. I believe it's an Eastern American Toad and when I researched them it said high temps could cause the color change.

I released it after taking a few shots

Yes that is an Eastern American, my kids and me caught six babies the other day. I let them keep them for a couple hours then we released them back where we found them. Their starting off young with their love of nature.
