    Blue Tail monitor(V.Doreanus)

Here are a few pictures of my Blue Tail monitor.I don't have many as this guy is extremely shy.If I catch him while he is out,he will freeze. But as soon as I open the cage door,he will flee for a hide. Now cage maintenance with this guy is fun.If you get too close to where he is hide,he will lounge at me with mouth wide open. And let me tell you this, these guys have large teeth. All in all the Indcus complex sucks, but I love them

    Beauty, Greg

I had one back in the 90's, and he was a shy bugger as well. Extremely quick too.

    Keep it up!

Very nice. Have a female myself. Not very friendly but love her to bits. She is a cracking monitor.

Nice pics! I have a female & she can be skittish at times. I clean the viv in the morning before she's had too much time in her hot spot. This way she's still lethargic from waking up and isn't a total terror to handle.

I got her when I got my Dums. She is very skittish and angry and I work a billion hours a week,so I don't see her that much. And even when I do if I grab the camera she will dart off to a hide.
