Question about Gravid eating???????

I have a female lesser that has been building for some time now. Witness the ovulation and she had her pre-lay shed last week. She has been off food since her ovulation but yesterday i had an extra small rat after feeding the others so i dropped it in her tub and she snatched it up. Do you think she reabsorbed the eggs or could she have eaten before she will lay. She was one of my strongest feeders before ovulating.

Since some snakes will eat while they're incubating, it might just be that she's one that will eat when she's gravid. Some snakes have high prey drives. I've got some that eat in full blue here.

I have a female that never missed a meal, I did offer her smaller meals though.

Thanks llovelace. I really hope she lays because i would love to see some little white snakes with blue eyes this year.
