Okay, more decisions time...
Well, my H. sp. ederi female was sold before I could get to her. BUT when one door closes, many others open right?
So now here are the other options that I like, that I must choose from:
1" H. maculata
0.75" N. chromatus
4" Female H. gigas
1.5" T. Ockerti
I'm leaning towards doing the T. Ockerti, but I still can't choose between them all! Help??

1" H. maculata - I REALLY like these!!! But they have very bad attitudes, a bad bite and are super fast from what I have heard.
0.75" N. chromatus - Kind of like a smaller version of a A. geniculata. I would get a genic over a chromatus personally.
4" Female H. gigas - It's cool because it can swim but other then that it does not appeal to me personally.
1.5" T. Ockerti - I would get one of these as a first choice. H. mac would be my second choice. Then gigas, then chromatus out of the options given. That's just my personal choices though...

I was actually thinking the exact same things. I'm more than likely getting the ockerti in about a week.

"As far as the H mac goes, lightning quick, hard as nails, very photo phobic, they're fantastic looking though. Are a mix of arboreal and terrestrial in behaviour, very messy spiders, will drag substrate up onto everything and web heavily." From Arachnoboards.
Sometimes I look strictly for proven females, unless there is one, and there have been a few, that were purchased while young because the wife really wanted them.

Ooooouu what kind are you thinking of?
I love the N. chromatus as adults, but the one they have is so tiny I think I'll wait and get a bigger one later.

Your prices in Canada seem to be a bit higher for T's then ours in the US?

They do, don't they? I noticed that with a lot of animal prices, the prices in the US seem to be cheaper than here... I think it depends on where you're looking though, I find the East of Canada is cheaper than in the West coast, because they're starting to really bear down on people with pets and trying to limit the numbers you can have.
