    Question Breeding mice

    My mices won't mate well it's really the female she keeps pushing him away and I really need the babies like asap my ball python and corn snake are running out of food don't wanna drive to get food because it's distance from where I'm at....us there away I can make them mate faster ?

    A mouse colony takes a while to get going, but then it spins out of control very quickly...lol...

    I set mine up 1.3 and have had very good success with them in that configuration.

    Maybe you can pick up a few more females to get him going?

    Generally speaking, it takes a couple of months to get mice going. Even then, the females can kill each other and the male. Once you get a good set of breeders, don't take any females out, or introduce new females, just let them go at it, and keep feeding off the babies and pulling them when they are weaned. If you need a new female in the box, just grow up one of the babies and keep her in there...
