Cypress Mulch + High Humidity

I picked up two new enclosures on Saturday and the humidity is off the charts in these things when using Cypress Mulch. I am going to switch back to aspen tonight on the side of caution as I don't want my snakes to be affected by the dampness of the substrate, and am going to see about drilling some holes in the front plexi doors to increase airflow.

Question is - what is a quick way to dry Cypress Mulch? I don't just want to discard it as it is new and a bit pricey, suggestions?

Take it out of the bag and put it in a roasting pan that you don't plan to use anymore and bake it in the oven at 200 degrees for an hour and let it cool. This will dry it out
