Help! (Am I over worrying?)
I have a female and male ball python that live in the same enclosure. Tonight I took the male out so I could feed the female and he started rubbing his head against the cage and making a weird sound... well at least I think it was him making the noise. Is there something wrong or am I just over worrying about him?

First, housing together is a bad idea. They will be competitive for everything. The only time they should be together is for breeding and even that is moderated (3 on 3 off).
Define sound...?
Wheezing, hissing, gurgling, sneezing, whistling....ect?
In most cases if something has changed in their behavior and they start making funny noises you should take them to the vet for a check.

Hey welcome to BP.net.
I highly recommend checking out the ball python caresheet that is located in our forum section. Ball pythons aren't social creatures and prefer to live in separate enclosures. Most pet stores crowd them all on top of each other, and that's just not how bp's thrive. I imagine you got your snake from a pet store and weren't properly educated about bp husbandry, just so they could make a sale. Please read over the caresheet, make some adjustments and enjoy the forum.
Also if your new snake is making wheezing noises, you should take a trip to the vet. It could have a respiratory infection.

Actually since they live together, you'll have to take both of them to the vet. If he has a RI or infection then she's got it too.

All of what was said above, and separate them as soon as you can.

+1 to what everyone said. Separate them immediately, and if the "weird sound" continues both will now need to go to the vet.
