    what would you do?

How do i feed a picky ball python that is almost always under the newspaper instead of in the hide? Do i lift up the newspaper? Remove it completely? Or just carefully slip the mouse under the newspaper and hope the snake eats?

I have a few that won't eat if I disturb them or their hide. Put the prey item in and observe from a distance. They usually notice the commotion and stick their heads around the paper to see what's up and then its on like Donkey Kong!

She is an early 2011. 360 grams. I usually dont touch her at all unless taking her out of the newspaper and try introducing her to her real hide. But i gave up and just let her go under the newspaper. Offer her a small adult mouse every week. She never took it. Temps are all perfect too.
