    Exclamation scale rot? chipped scale on belly scales please help

    i looked at my ball python and one of his ventral or bottom scale it looks chipped or something and two small brown spots on his belly by the tail very small though. i cant send a pic but other than that no signs of scale rot or any strange color
    also he is in a 4 by 3 feet cage he has been in it for months with no problems but last week i took everything out of the tank execpt his rock bowl caus i wanted to change the entire tank. once i did that he would sit long times in his bowl has no mites or ticks once i put everything back today he went to his hide and seems fine. he has shed about a week and half ago thanks for anying replys
