finding a breeder
i'm not sure how much traction i will get with this thread, but it's worth a shot. essentially i'm looking to acquire a neonate GTP this year, but i really don't know where to look. any information/advice/recommendations regarding reputable and worthwhile GTP breeders or dealers from someone with morelia experience would be much appreciated.
i never thought i'd branch out from ball pythons, but i picked up a GTP about a month ago from a local collector having a fire sale and i just got hooked. they're extremely interesting snakes, and i can't seem to get away from the idea of buying another. i've searched this site as well as the BOI on fauna, but i've only managed to find a graveyard of websites and dealers with abysmal trader ratings. same field of results on google as well, with the exception of big apple herp which barely qualifies as a last resort.
if anyone has purchased a new GTP recently and been satisfied with the experience, please let me know. the question is somewhat academic at the moment until i can afford to buy another cage, heat panel, etc. first but i would like to know where to look in the interim. i'm not terribly concerned with any 'designer morphs' or GTP hybrids, but any information on breeders would be helpful.
thanks in advance.

Send my friend Patrick an email. His address is txgtps@gmail.com
I know for sure he got eggs not long ago from one pair of his GTPs. If he doesn't have what you're looking for (unlikely) he'll help you find it. He's a great guy and loves his animals.

Re: finding a breeder
There are several good breeders you can try..Trpnbills (jeffhankey@gmail.com) from this site has some neos for sale right now. I've seen them in person and they're all very nice. I also purchased one and have had it about three months now, and I'm extremely happy with it - aggressive feeder but laid back personality, just perfect. Terry Phillip of blackhillspythons.com has a RIDICULOUS sale going on right now. He has some very nice CBB animals (of varying ages) from great bloodlines on sale to make room for new hatchlings. He is very good to work with, and I'm currently in the middle of my second deal with him. Rico walder of signalherp.com is another one to contact, also very great to work with. Try going to moreliaviridis.yuku.com and you will find several others with good reputations.
