    Uther's growth

So I'm pet sitting for my BF again, and got a couple pic of Uther for a size comparison from ones around Easter.

Easter (mirror is the size of a quarter)

Now (He flattened himself -not completely- in both pics of him in the water)

Here's some with me holding him (He was soooo much better back in April, after the first couple days, he was OK with me holding him for short bursts... now I have to wait for night time to hold him, when he's more sleepy and lazy...)

    (Easter)

    Now

(It took him a minute to realize that I was holding him... but just enough time to get a picture!)

I'll be pet sitting again from the end of November until next summer that I know of, since that's when my bf will be gone for Basic Training and Tech School for the AF.

He probably won't be able to fit in his 10gal anymore then so we'll have to figure out how to get his big tank here (his big one wont fit in my bf's car... so he's staying in his old 10gal while he's with me for the next week and a half.)

OH! I'm pretty sure he is a he now, while I was getting the pic of him in my hand, I lifted his tail real quick, and I saw one bump, and then one faint bump, but I wasn't wearing my glasses at the time.

He just keeps getting bigger! We aren't worried about his growth much anymore, more along the lines of getting him to be handleable (that's not a word... is it? ) He lets us pet him, but won't let us hold him. (He flattens his stomach and tilts to the side your hand is trying to pick him up from)

Uther's better with me about handling, and when I have him next month, I'm going to definatly work with him...

Any ways, here's a pic of the little (not for long!) guy

We're gonna have to get a new log for him to climb on soon... And a new hide (he likes the large Exo Terra ones, he'll block the entrance to it when he's inside, and dig it out when he wants out)
