    My first DIY rack

    Uses Plano shelves from Wal-Mart.

Thanks to all who posted info on their racks here. I couldn't have figured out how to do this little one without referencing your other threads. Now to build a bigger better one and fill it up!!!

Nice Rack! Actually doesn't look half bad. I still prefer wood or melamine over plastic but i bet that thing is way light. Is the underside of the shelf solid? I dont like using lids on my tubs. Id rather have it fit the tubs minus the lid. Again nice build.

No, not solid on the underside of the shelves so lids are required on this type .

I checked into flipping the top shelves upside down to both sides would be solid. But the tubs were approximately 1/4" longer than the shelves so I didn't wanna chance one getting out of worse getting stuck.

I also would prefer no lids but I'll have to look into that on the next rack. I think wood will be how I'll have to go to get away from the damn lids
