    Ahh mosquitoes!

So I just moved into a new apartment, and I have been DEVOURED by mosquitoes (inside and outside). I am FED UP, and I have no idea where they are coming from. Since its 4th of July weekend, I don't know if I'll be able to get any maintenance to either get the exterior exterminated or bug bombed, not to mention I don't have anywhere to take my pets in the meantime.

My question is whether or not there is anything temporary/ homemade/ store bought that I can use inside that will not harm my snakes? These buggers are killing me and I cannot wear long clothing and bugspray all the the time when its 110 degrees outside. Thanks for any suggestions; i'm growing more anemic and itchy as we speak lol

skin so soft, or a bug repellant on yourself, they make the off with a fan that you can place in a room.

Putting SSS on you will not harm your snakes. Do you live near a pond or something?

nope no water anywhere that i've been able to find; i'm in the city too. i don't have an SSS either or anywhere to get it. I mean i guess i can just use bugspray, but i find it doesn't really work on me and then i feel uncomfortable having chemicals all over me.

Then I would get the off personal mosquito device w/the fan.
There has to be some stagnant water around somewhere in old tires etc.

Do you smoke? Cigars or a pipe? Nicotine is an OUTSTANDING bug repentant. I smoke cigars, I take all my buts and put them in a coffee can with water and use the water to put into a spray bottle. Spray it on all the surfaces, not yourself. I live right by the Alabama river and I have no mosquitoes biting me ever. I even spray my garden with it. If you dont smoke. go to the gas stastion and get a few Swisher or Phillies and boil them for a few minutes. Spray you door frames and window frames. Its natural and nontoxic and doesnt have an odor when dry. I promise you it will be effective.
