Holy smokes!!!
One of my little guys poked his nose out today!!
I pulled the towel off the incubator to check on them and he pulled his little nose right back in!
So I made a cut to see him and this is what I saw!!!
First of 7 !!!

Im so excited!!
Looks like a beautiful normal!!
Question.... after pipping is it normal for those veins to be there still?
I thought there were less when they pip.....???

Congrats! and I've seen pics of a few cut eggs, some veiny, some not so veiny. It depends on the egg and where the cut is, I guess.

Re: Holy smokes!!!
Congrats,
The veins are perfectly normal at this stage.
Before leaving the egg the snake will abosorb the yolk sack, draw it inside its body, and draw the blood in those veins back inside his body. That's why I said it is important not to cut any of the big veins - that is all the animals blood and it will be needing it.
