Just ordered my first GTP on kingsnake...(not a good story)

I bought the snake from Color Creations on kingsnake.com
So i paid the person on a friday, then they said they would ship it on monday and it would be here on tuesday. Still had received nothing by wednesday so i emailed holland. He then replied saying he would ship it tomorrow(thursday). When i finally got the snake on friday it was in a box with a whole bunch of newspaper. wrapped up in the newspaper was a tiny plastic cup with a soaked paper towel and a dead GTP
I emailed color creations back. There is no other contact info for this company. I don't know what to do now... And I recommend that no one purchase anything from Color Creations. I have read many other bad stories about them.

I don't think there is anything you can do at this point. Did they offer you a live arrival guarantee? And I have to ask, if you've read other bad stories why did you buy from them? If you paid through paypal there is a chance you might be able to get some or all of your money back if they gave you a live arrival guarantee.

If they gave you a LAG (live arrival guarantee), then you should be able to get your money back, but if there was no LAG then I don't know how much would be doable. I'm very sorry about the GTP, that would've been a great new addition. You read the bad stories afterwards, I'm assuming?

I just did some research for you...when I googled that link about 10 pages of articles popped up saying what a horrible person this Holland guy is. I went to the site and couldn't find any terms or conditions. I'm sorry but I think you just got scammed. I'm really sorry, I know how expensive GTP's can be and I hope you can get your $$ back! Until then I'll let you know if I find anything about the LAG.

Sorry for your bad seller. But one good thing is you are getting the word out by posting this. I would recommend leaving your feedback on how bad his delivery was everywhere you can.

Their ad is back up. I would contact them ASAP. It also says "guaranteed live arrival". Another reason to buy chondros from breeders with a solid reputation. There are tons of CBB chondros available right now for right around import prices. Good luck with getting this resolved.

I would take a screenshot of their ad that says live arrival guaranteed. If you paid by a credit card just call and put in a dispute for the card. Your CC company will pretty much always give you your money back. You can do this even if you paid with a CC through paypal.

You should go to faunaclassifieds.com if you are not already a member and post a thread about this on the Board of inquiry. After reading the rules of posting on the BOI there of course. It would help you get many many more views and people who may have info on how to contact this seller. Either way. It will create a permanent warning for other prospective buyers to watch out for this seller. That's what the BOI is for.

Next time. Do not buy from someone without first searching their name/company on the BOI to see if they have any good or bad reviews on there.

Thank you guys so much for all your help. I emailed him and told him it arrived dead. He emailed me back and asked me to send a picture and what time it arrived. I responded and have heard nothing back. I understand it was the weekend and fourth of july. I'm going to try and contact him again today. Again... thank you everyone for all your help.
