Recent California Fishing Trip
I went on a fishing charter off the coast of California for a few days. Every day before our arrival there was an average of nearly 10 barracuda per person. After two days, this is what was in my bag:

Not quite the cooler full of food I was anticipating returning with.
On an interesting note, I was the only one on the boat that knew how to safely restrain birds so when over zealous pelicans, cormorants, or gulls were tangled in lines I was able to help them out.
This guy was a free loader that was trailing the boat looking for unguarded bait.

Lol! Gotta love those bait stealing birds! I go to Seaworld pretty often and I love to feed the Dolphins and Rays, those dang birds steal them right out of my hands all the time. Can't blame them though, too cute to stay angry too.
I recenly caught 2 baby sharks, really cute.

I think the name of the boat was Victory if I remember correctly.

At least you had lots of sun & salt air to enjoy , sorry your catch was minimal.

The fishing wasn't great, but everything else was so still very worth it...especially the breakfast burritos they make on the boat. Almost worth the trip just for those! Being on the water again was nice too.
