I think some people need to take an IQ test before they try and sell anything on that site. Sorry you didn't get a female. But kudos on the albino!

One of the most important things you can do in this hobby is learn how to pop your snakes yourself. That way when you are at a show or buying from someones house you can make sure you are getting what you are supposed to, but for $100 it was probably one of those too good to be true deals anyway.

You know what they say about something that is too good to true?

Knowing how to sex your snake is something you need to know when purchasing snakes sad you had to learn the hardway.

There is no way I would trust myself sexing my snake myself. Does anyone know how much it would cost at a vet? I'm not planning on breeding or anything, but I wouldn't mind knowing. If its too much, It'll just remain a mystery for the ages.

it is really so simple. I got a probing set last week and found probing my larger snakes much easier than i expected. Popping the little ones i found more difficult than probing. You just need confidence and common sense...don't push too hard

I recently did the same thing. I bought an 800 gram "female" pastel off someone from Craigslist for $100. I haven't confirmed her sex, but I'm fairly sure I've been taken lol! I just never have that good of luck. Glad to know I'm not the only one. But congrats on the new albino.
