    Blood near cloaca

My wife and I just picked up a baby Albino King (Cal king I think) and when I got home from work I went to go take a look at her. She has obviously not been held very much as she is as squirmy as can be.

Well while I was holding her she whipped her tail around and got some liquid on me. I assumed at first that she had musked me, but after a closer look it was blood. I had a good grip on her but not strong enough to hurt her so I don't think I caused it. Does anyone know what could cause this? And would a vet visit be in order?

P.S. I can try and post some pics if you want but she is fast and likely won't hold still for any good shots.
