    baby ball python feeding today

    Hi guys this is my first post here. Last week i buy a baby ball python from pet supermarket i read allot they wont feed right today was feeding day i buy small mouse live put the bp on different container let loose the mouse at first look the bp was afraid avoiding the mouse left them there for about 40 min bp start changing his behavior keep opening his mouth and then start moving around the tub and finilly he strike and got is meal a really cool experience.

    Gratz on your bp. I just got a new baby pastel bp sunday, he looked hungry and roamed his tub so i decided to feed him, and he ate it first try. Glad yours ate and is doing good.

    Just let it settle in and make sure your temperature and humidity at the right levels. Just make sure you monitor any live rodent around your BP. If it doesn't feed just try again next week or next scheduled feeding date. It's very common for new snakes to reject food after being introduced to a new environment. Just let it settle in.

    rom temp 81 and the heat pad im not sure

    I suggest you get a temp where your heating pad is. Some pads can get up to 115 degrees and burn the snake. Other then that congrats on him eating. My first ball also ate today. It was a really cool experience.
