    Is my cage okay?

Hello! Okay so I'm new to own ball pythons and im wondering if someone could help me on if my cage is okay or not, I was told to spray the inside of the cage with hot water to create a humid mist type of environment and I put a towel on top to keep in the heat/humidity. Please let me know what to change/add thanks So much((:

Did you read the caresheet? ^^ you need to make some adjustments that I can see just from the pic

Im not sure is the sides of the tank are wet because you just misted, or because its condensation...but just so you know condensation=bad

Welcome! Definitely take a look at the caresheet, it's got some great info.

The cage looks a little small... What size/age is your bp / are you planning to acquire? But other than that, as long as temps and humidity are good, you should be set. Are you using a digital thermometer / hygrometer?

what kind of heat are you using? just the lamp of do you have a UTH (under Tank Heater) If you dont you should get one as soon as you can. If you do already do you have a thermostat on it, or at least a rhetostrat (lamp dimmer) on it

You should get a thermometer with a probe ( I hear the accurite indoor/outdoor from walmart works well) and people say you dont need a temp gun to moniter temps (but I live by mine)

and I agree what size tank is that? it seems kind of small.

    PS welcome to BP.net
