    Little extra help?

I have read the yellowbelly guide and read a lot of posts where people ask if their ball is a yellowbelly. I am still lost on how to tell if it is a yellowbelly or just a normal. The head spot seems easiest but as far as I can tell it is only there less then half the time, does any other morph have a head spot? The other markers are blushing and higher yellow, again seem to only be present part of the time. It seems like the deal breaker marker is the belly marking but for some reason I am being slow and don't see what people are talking about. I do tend to be a visually learner so if anyone can post yellowbellies next to normals and mark the differences it might help? Thank You!

do you have a yellowbelly? Cause if you post a pic of yours it will be easier to tell. Have you tried looking on here for pics or googled them?

This isnt the best pic, but can you see how the pattern is flecked and granitey on the sides of the belly, thats what they are referring to.

    Re: Little extra help?

From the yb's I've hatched every single one had a head spot even if it was faded. That said some normals also have similar head spots so you need to go by the head spot, the belly pattern and the flames coming off of the belly.

Nice shots Jerry! I would also recommend buying from a trusted source. There is a lot of variance but my Pastel YB has a bright head spot in addition to the checkering all along his belly coupled with bright flames and blushing. It's subtle stuff but once you've seen a lot of them they tend to get more obvious.

    Regards,

I do not have one yet, I hope to pick one up later this year, and was trying to learn the marks beforehand. Still kinda confused on the belly marks, but the pictures have helped a lot, Thank You!
