im new to keeping snakes was giving a normal male about 6 months ago he was a bit neglected 5 years old and i didnt know it at the time but skinny they hadnt fed him in like 2 months well i got him a lamp and am using a human heating pad on low he loves it his sheds became full sheds and he always had a great feeding responce then i was kind of giving a normal female gave the guy 10 bucks she had nothing but he did bring 5 mice so i took her put her in a ten gallon i happen to have laying around and put her on the human heating pad underneath of course they both seem to love next i started doing my homework and found this whole new world of morphs wow to my surprise i was bittin by the snake buglol just got my first pinstripe male guy said he bought from N.E.R.D. in 2008 hes huge way bigger than my normals feeds on live rats now question 1: is since i plan on setting up a snake rack soon with heat tape and a thermostat is it ok to use the human heating pads till i purchase since that equipment they have a temp regulator and i put it on low
2: i have kept mice as feeder breeders but the new snake eats rats i want to keep my food cost down on the snakes and fatten up my normals can i just start feeding them rats about the same size as a large mouse or since they are used to mice will they not switch
3:wht would be a great morph to breed to my pin besides pastel i was checking at mojave's to try and go for jigsaws but where does that go after that or should i think about a spider for a spinner or go for the long haul kingpin![]()
