Switching Mice to Rats...Problem

OK, I got Melina (Pastel BP) a couple of years ago, and she's been eating live mice since she's been born. Recently, I'm trying to switch her from live mice to frozen rats. Last week, I gave her 2 mice and then gave her a med. rat (after rubbing it with a f/t mouse I was gonna give one of my corns); and she ate it. I tried it again today and she only ate the mice. Is there anything I'm doing wrong, or is it just gonna take patience?

You're doing just fine. Keep doing what you are doing but offer one less mouse and keep scenting the rat. It could just be a lot of food for her. Good work so far!
