    just soaked my blood

    just soaked my blood for about an hour and when i went and put here back in her cage i saw a clear fluid coming out her mouth then it stopped .should i worry or is this normal ? this is my first blood python any help with this would be grateful thanks again shawn

    She most likely just drank a lot of water when you soaked her, and it came back up when you picked her up. Unless you see signs of an RI, I wouldn't worry.

    I agree with the others. But why were you soaking your snake for an hour?

    i was soaking her for about an hour cause that was what is was told to do .she was starting to go into a shed and i was told that soaking her will help her have a better shed and it did . i just never seen a snake drool like that before only if it was sick thats all

    Nothing wrong with giving them a bit of water time, it definitely helps ensure good shed and can be good exercise, which these guys seldom get any of in captivity.
