Need Advice ASAP on UVB lighting

Ive been working hard at getting my new enclosure ready for the new arrival that's due to arrive this Wednesday. Every things ready or so I thought. Ive recently stumbled on a few disturbing online discussions about the Zilla Desert 50 fluorescent UVB bulb.
Does any one use these to good effect? Has anyone had to ditch these bulbs because its harmed your BD? If you have knowledge one way or the other please let me know asap so I know whether I'm all ready for Wednesday or if I have to take the Zilla fixture back.
    Thanks so much.

My personal preference is a fluorescent Reptisun, or Reptiglo bulb. Reptisun is close to the best on the market, if not the best, but you have to order them online. You can find the Reptiglo bulbs in pet stores.

I used a compact fluorescent zilla bulb with a frilled dragon and it ended up dying. I'm not saying it was caused by the zilla bulb, because the frilly was in bad shape when I got him, but after he died, I did research on Zilla products. I know you can't always believe what you read on the internet, but there have been several lawsuits against the company for incidents of animals dying. I would personally rather be safe than sorry. Either way, I wouldn't use any brand of compact bulb. Make sure you have a tube bulb for the UVB, and a regular day light bulb for UVA. I also have a red night time bulb that I use in the winter for my beardy.

Congrats on the new addition and good luck with setting everything up!

Ive noticed many people recommending Reptisun 10.0, however I'm really not clear why. Forgive my ignorance about the subject, I was wondering however if there are reasons to ditch the desert 50s. What makes them inferior, or bad for that matter to use, as opposed to Reptisun or any other uvb bulb.

When I started using the reptisun bulbs, I noticed my beardy seemed to perk up a bit, so I have stuck with them.
