    Uplifting news story about a Burmese Python :)

    This happened last October, but I just now stumbled across the article. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/unle...land-home.html

    I was really impressed that the firefighters rescued him/her, especially with the snake being so large (and to them, probably intimidating.) The cheif doesn't like snakes, but luckily it was still saved (and hopefully living a good life.)

    Usually it seems the media is all about making our scaley friends out to be monsters, but this story was a nice change. Sorry if it's been posted before.
