    Need a Male for breeding.

I have a lesser female, a spider female and a mojave female that are all breeding age and size. I was wondering what male would get me some good money for their first breeding. The females are all above 1800 grams.

    i would say mojave/lesser/butter or a pastel

If your looking to make money your gonna be let down. not too many people actually make money off hobby breeding. so if its money ur interested just sell ur females now. you still have to house the hatchlings and care and feed them. other expenses can add up quick too so just be aware of it

Get a lesser pastel male and you will make some great combos.

It's really all up to you and what you would like to produce.

Me personally, I would purchase a male Lesser, or any snake with Lesser in it. That way with two females you have the chance of producing fairly clean BELs and with your Spider you have the chance of some gorgeous Lesser Spiders. Just my opinion.

true that, this is not to be making money unless youre in it for the long haul and the expenses and even then youre breaking even if that. I got several males ready to go but all my females are still building up in weight so cant do much for now but with all the snakes i have im practically supplying my own rats (breeding) and mice(breeding) and i have to feed them and house them as well so not too much money being made here hehe...Good luck

Re: Need a Male for breeding.

I understand. I was breeding ball pythons about five years ago and was housing over 150 balls at any given time. I sold off all of my balls and now I am getting back into breeding. A lesser male sounds good, I was thinking about breeding her to a recessive male like a pied or a clown. What do you guys think?

you could breed anything to anything but you have to decide what you want as an end result. if you want to breed to something recessive and wait a few years or more than go for it. only you can decide what you like and what you ultimately want to produce.

I'd suggest a clown. The lesser pied is an all white snake and the spider pied is almost all white. The Spider Clown and Lesser Clown are much more of a visually appealing snake than the others.

I'm going to suggest something crazy. Get an enchi or a lemon blast male. The possibilities with either of those two is really limitless. Just think enchi lessers, stinger bees, and pastel enchis. Whoop now that's a great first breeding season.
