Re: Anyone use Aspen for Dumeril?

I went with aspen because I heard the Dum likes to burrow - and sure enough, my little girl is always buried in the stuff. I put in just over an inch of depth (she's just a yearling).

I mist the enclosure because my setup is pretty dry. My girl makes piles up the aspen and then makes tunnels. I never know what the land scape is going to look like when I go in.

Here is a pic i just took after switching it. He is still kinda unsure of it i think. I put a layer of newspaper under to make cleanup alot easier. He used to burrow in the cocofiber whenever i put fresh stuff in, the aspen seems alot better for burrowing so i think after a day or so he will like it.......i hope, lol.
