Picked up a leatherneck yesterday at the hamburg expo...sigh! Not sure if it is a male or female (should have asked) but from I read its not hard to find out. I will have to look when he settles in.
So how much uvb do these need? Is there such a thing as too much? Im also thinking about lowering his hide an inch or so, right now its 5.5" high.
So far way more daily maintence than a snake. He already regurg this am, not sure if it is a stress or heat issue. Im guessing stress right now.
I going to need a dome lamp for the uvb light or one of those long ones with the fixture and I believe I will be needing a 100 or 150 watt basking light. I just gathered up a few things I had around the house for my spur of the moment purchase.
Of course I had to get a few shots....
