The picture at that link is terrible, but it does look to be a super pastel.

Many people balk at Craigslist, but quite honestly you can sometimes find some good deals there. The owner of that animal may well know what he's worth, but be unwilling to ship and therefore willing to take a lower than market price for a local sale.

X2 You could always take a look at the animal in person and make a decision from there. Obviously you wouldn't know for certain until you bred him and proved him out but if nothing else you'd have a pretty nice looking pastel for less than market prices. I dunno...either way, good luck!

It's not unheard of, a friend bought a super pastel male off of CL 2 weeks ago for $350.

If your planning on breeding a super pastel I'd pass on that one
*assuming it even is a super*

The price does not sound too low, in my opinion. I believe there was another thread posted in the last couple days in which someone bought a 1,000g+ male Super Pastel for $300 at an expo. CL has the occasional good deal from a good person. I was going to buy a gorgeous 3' female BRB from a girl this week but I did not act fast enough and she was sold.

It kinda seems that $300 is the new price point for super pastel males.

I certainly would be hard pressed to pay more for $300 for a male super pastel, simply because I want my males to have a chance to pass on more than a single trait, unless it was something a little less common than pastels.

Its a super pastel and 300 is good price for a male of that size. Which is breeding size and ready.

Most 2010-2011 super males will run 350-400+shipping
