    I love surprises

Just checking on some females and found a nice clutch of 6 eggs from het albino x het snow. Wasn't expecting eggs from her until the 16th. She ovulated on 4-26 but didn't have her prelay shed until 5-17, twenty one days later. Based on the general rule of 30 days after prelay shed I was expecting eggs until 6-16. Going back and doing the math she laid exactly 45 days after ovulation. Maybe I will start looking for eggs based on ovulation instead of prelay sheds. Either way I'm thrilled. 6 fertile eggs with no slugs weighing in at 670 grams. There is a 6th egg in the back of that pile.
