    Balls in the grass

I got a chance to take my three ball pythons outside today for the first time. It is such a gorgeous day out today so it was perfect.

This is Alice, male normal. If anyone has any advice to help me switch him to frozen it would be appreciated. I've tried the zombie rat dance many, many times. I've left prey in overnight too. I even tried tuna water. He is a very sweet boy, though a little shy. I just really don't like feeding live.

My two pastel males, Mater and Binoo. They look quite different from each other. I think Binoo is a bit nicer looking, (on the right) but Mater has a much nicer temperament. Binoo is still rather scared and nippy.

    Thanks!

One pastel was bought unsexed, the other was bought as a female. But of course with my luck, they both turned out to be male. Along with Alice the normal who I also bought as a female. *sigh*

Have you tried heating the rats head with a hair drier? Works like a charm for me

I can try that, but the rats are always nice and hot from the hot water I use to thaw them. I will try that though, see if it helps.

Thats horrible luck, did you buy them from a breeder? Did you get some money back?

No unfortunately. The unsexed one was from a breeder, but it was unsexed so...
The other two were Craigslist dealies. I actually did contact the person about the pastel, but she blew me off, said she couldn't buy him back.

Nice pics. I actually like the more aberrant patterned pastel myself!
