Actually I disagree you should wait until you come back, a good practice is to avoid feeding prior to leave town, why you might ask? Well while it is not likely to happen a regurgitation is still a possibility with a snake and trust me this is not the kind of you want to come back to should it happen in your absence.
Your snake will be fine waiting and trust me better be safe than sorry.
When I leave the last time snakes are offered food is a least 7 days before departure and if they don't eat they'll have to wait until I return.

Re: what to do
I agree with Deborah. When I need to go out of town, I will try to feed about 4 days before I leave, or I will wait until I get back. A fresh regurge smells aweful, and I would hate to think of what a week old regurge would smell like...

Definitely wait till you return. Those few extra days won't bother him and it'll get him ready for the chow.

I'd feed him when I got back. He probably won't regurg, but if you feed him right before you leave you might come back to a cage, or worse yet a water bowl, full of snake caca. Imagine what that would smell like sitting in there for 3 or 4 days.
