    These balls are making me crazy....

    Hi everyone my girls finally started eating around a month ago..now two of my males aren't eating they are around 400 to 450 grams..the spider has been off and on for around three months..he was my first and best eater.. is it the time of year or what...please help..

    They are funny eaters for sure. Three of mine eat every time f/t. The other stopped eating for a month. I didn't want to but I had to try live. He is back on schedule thank goodness. Although I don't have any advice I do feel your pain. Hope they start eating again for you soon.

    perfectly normal. they go off feed all the time for any number of reasons. it is just the way they are. after years of keeping them i have gotten where i can generally tell by their behavior when they are ready to eat again. but again 5-6 months off feed is not that uncommon. they generally feed when they are ready. it can be very frustrating though. good luck and im sure they feed again when they are ready.

    when my het pied male goes off feed, live mice get him eating again, otherwise he's a pretty good eater of FT mice! It happens, they are chubby snakes and it seems like sometimes they just aren't hungry because of all that stored weight. Just don't stress out about it and maybe give them a week or so break between attempts to feed.
